The lawn grate also known as lawn mesh has many important functions that improve the quality and durability of a lawn surface. It is particularly suitable for areas subject to heavy traffic or loads such as car parks, sports facilities, cycle paths or home gardens or as protection for slopes and pond edges. Lawn grids can be a much cheaper and easier-to-install alternative to paving blocks – they are installed with clips into one surface and then backfilled. The grassed openwork lawn grid is invisible.
